I know this post is a couple of days late but here it is none the less.
One year ago (from sunday) I was waking up the last day as a single girl, Jenny Jones.
One year ago I was spending the day with my girlfriends, getting ready to the biggest day of a girls life.
One year ago I was so excited for what was to come.
One year ago I had butterfly's in my stomache to walk down the aisle and see my future husband.
One year ago we prayed, danced, toasted and to our new life together.
One year ago on January 31st, 2009 I married my best friend and my soul mate.
It is so hard to believe that our first year of marriage is behind us. Everyone says the first year is the hardest. If that is the case then I think we are in good shape! A lot has happened in our first year. We remodeled a house (and lived through it!), moved to the country, had job changes, friend changes, and family changes.
I could not ask for a better husband. He is my best friend, my rock, my everything and I love him to death. I am so excited to share the rest of our life together and see what is in store for us and our life together.
You may ask what we did for our anniversary?? Well, we did a whole lot of nothing and it was fantastic! We just spend the whole day watching movies (including our wedding video) and enjoying each others company. We of course went out to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants and we are spending this next weekend together on a trip we planned. We are going SKIING!! The snow we have recieved the past weekend has only made us more excited for!
So, I promise to take lots of pictures of our ski trip and hope neither of us breaks any bones! I had a wonderful anniversary and Mr. A I love you so much and thank you for a wonderful first year of marriage!
